Getting Started

Thank you for your interest in our school. God has blessed us through the years and we are anxious to share our enthusiasm and dedication for teaching with your children. We hope you have had the opportunity to
come and visit our campus. Tours of the school are given upon request and can be scheduled by contacting the school office. If you wish to visit a classroom, speak to a teacher or meet with the principal, please call (503) 472-9189 or email the school office at stjlsch@stjohnmac.org and we will schedule a time for you.

Enrollment
  • Completed registration form accompanied with payment of registration & curriculum fee ensures a place for your child(ren). Registration & Curriculum fee is nonrefundable.
  • Preschoolers must be potty trained.
  • Federal, state, and district guidelines are followed for age appropriate classes.
  • Immunization records must be up-to-date and current and on file in the office on the first day of school.
  • First-come, first-served basis for morning or afternoon classes, where offered.
    • (Afternoon preschool classes are dependent on enrollment.)

Financial Aid Assesment

Providing quality Christian education is an integral part of the mission of St John Lutheran School.. We strive to provide affordable solutions for families. We understand that family circumstances change; therefore, we accept applications throughout the year. Tuition assistance is available on the basis of demonstrated need. If you believe that your resources are not sufficient to meet the total costs of a St John Lutheran School education, you are encouraged to apply.

Tuition scholarships are available for kindergarten and above. Applications may be obtained from the office. Applications must be received by June 30th. Applicants will receive notification upon decision
